April Pirate of the Month
Captain Hans “The Slasher” Bjorn

Beware, my hardies! Hans Bjorn has the blood of his marauding Viking ancestors coursing through his veins. Even the hardiest of sea dogs feared an encounter with this blood thirsty pirate captain. Hans was know for turning into a raving savage during battle, and was never parted from his razor sharp knife, which he used freely to slash away at his opponents.

This is the ninth pirate release for the Old Glory Armies members.

May Pirate of the Month
Captain Every Henry

Captain Henry was a meticulous man in many ways. He sported a long beard which he wore with great pride. Captain Henry became a pirate later in his life, after being, shall we say, “excused” from the Royal Navy.

June Pirate of the Month
Hannah O'Brien

Hannah, or “Snap” as she was dubbed by her shipmates was a most unique pirate. Hannah, raised on a farm, was the youngest of 10 children, and the only girl. She would never allow herself to be treated as a female, after all she was more capable than most men in almost any physical task. Hannah, had a very unusual skill however, one that served her well on many occasions. Hannah had developed an uncanny skill with the whip she carried, and was never without. She could use her whip so efficiently that she could unarm a foe, or victim, with lightning speed, just a quick “snap” of the wrist. Those who knew her were always amazed, they would exclaim that watching Hannah one could hardly tell where her hand stopped and the whip began, it was as if they were one.

July Pirate of the Month
The “Broken Pirate”

Known only as the “Broken Pirate” by the men he hung with, there was not one other pirate who knew where this fellow came from, nor what his real name was, he was a mystery. What was obvious was this scoundrel and his constant companion “Petie” the parrot, had seen many a battle along the way. The “Broken Pirate” had a patch covering each eye, so little Petie perched on his shoulder, was this duos eyes, or should I say eye as poor Petie was down to just one eye himself. The “Broken Pirate” hobbled along the deck with 2 peg legs, he sported a hook on one hand and used his good hand to hang on to his much needed crutch. If it weren't for the benevolence of a “kind pirate crew” the “Broken Pirate” would be on his own to survive in this cruel world. Was it kindness or the entertainment value that kept this “Broken Pirate” cared for, after all he could spin a grand tale. The thing that was most obvious was that this “Broken Pirate” and his “Petie” had both seen more than their fair share of adventures.
